Dec 8 Update

 Hello!

Hard to believe that winter break is quickly approaching!

Please see below for some pictures from 2 wonderful assemblies this week as well as some of our exploration of the Telugu and Punjabi languages this week. We will finish our language exploration with English next week!

I am also sending home an orange paper outlining our Spirit Week next week with our Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser. It is is your student's backpack today.

If you have any questions as winter break nears, please reach out!

Thanks,

Wendy

On Monday, Dublin Dance Centre and Gymanstics came to share The Nutcracker with us!

At the end of the performance, they taught us a sequence of steps so that we could all dance too!

We explored Telugu and Punjabi this week. Here, 2 students are sharing the region where Telugu is most commonly spoken as well as some greetings in Telugu and other facts.

On Tuesday, the Columbus Zoo came for an assembly! Show these pictures to your student and ask them to tell you all that they learned about these animals!!

We worked hard this week on our outdoor (outdoor to our classroom, that is) winter display! We did some math in snow globes and made some fun snow people too! Below, we are cutting "snow" for our snow globes. It got a little messy!

The floor was a delightful mess when we were done, so we wrote a thank you note for the nightly janitor (below) to thank him or her for vacuuming our messy room!

More Telugu sharing!

We learned colors in Telugu and then used that knowledge to color in a beautiful Mandala.
