Dec 15 Update
Hello!
Winter break is nearing! Today, I am sending home 2 math games that your students know how to play as well as a "winter break reading challenge" in case they would like to play those games with you and/or read with you over break since it is quickly approaching!
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Our future is bright! New shades from the Columbus Blue Jackets for doing our reading program!
A big thank you to Mrs. Grimm, our weekly volunteer, who shared with us a book about Hanukkah as well as how she celebrates Hanukkah with her family. She also taught us how to play the Dreidel game, and everyone came home with the game piece today to play at home if interested! You just need coins, legos or some small item to use. We each started with 10 "gems" for our game here in the classroom. They should remember the rest, but please reach out if they forget!

Our Gingerbread Man got loose in school!!!! Ask the kids about their adventure in finding him!
Is he in the office? Did he leave a clue?
A student sharing his special family ornament from his travels.
Another student sharing on Share Day!
This student is talking about an ornament special to his family.
Math and some fraction conversations with our recipe to make salt dough gingerbread men
Everyone got to help. : )
We can't wait to paint our gingerbread people when the dough is dry - either this afternoon or on Monday!!
