Dec 20 Update

Hello! I can't believe we are officially done with the 1st semester of school! I feel like the first half of our year went by so quickly!! Please see below from our short but fabulous and FUN week this week of activities!!! I feel so fortunate to work with these GREAT KIDS each and every day!! Thank you for sharing them with me and for supporting them at home as we learn and grow here at school! I wish you all a restful break and look forward to seeing the kiddos in January!! Wendy Our winter wonderland outside of our classroom! Movie time on Wed afternoon for the school! Mrs. Grimm came today and gave everyone the wonderful book, You Matter! The students are coming home with the book, gloves, hat and bracelets from Mrs. Grimm. Super kind and fun!  On Monday, we had 4th grade buddies and worked on making a bridge for the "Gingerbread Bear" to cross the river instead of hopping on the fox's back and eventually being eaten! Dec 15 Update

Hello! Winter break is nearing! Today, I am sending home 2 math games that your students know how to play as well as a "winter break reading challenge" in case they would like to play those games with you and/or read with you over break since it is quickly approaching! As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! Wendy Our future is bright! New shades from the Columbus Blue Jackets for doing our reading program! A big thank you to Mrs. Grimm, our weekly volunteer, who shared with us a book about Hanukkah as well as how she celebrates Hanukkah with her family. She also taught us how to play the Dreidel game, and everyone came home with the game piece today to play at home if interested! You just need coins, legos or some small item to use. We each started with 10 "gems" for our game here in the classroom. They should remember the rest, but please reach out if they forget! Playing the Dreidel game.
